比賽勝負底定，落後方放棄防守時，領先方通常不會進攻，而是讓時間走完，但昨天七六人作客湖人，主力球員透納就觸犯了這條NBA的「不成文規定」。

終場前5秒，七六人領先5分，透納直奔前場已無人防守，他沒有拖完時間，卻秀出大車輪轉身扣籃，現場湖人球迷馬上響起噓聲。

透納落地後才想起這條不成文規定，隨即走向湖人板凳區致上歉意，但吞下5連敗的湖人球員回應不多。沒有和透納握手的楊恩賽後只說：「我們仍在掙扎，尋找勝利很難，但要繼續奮鬥。」
